Juneteenth Rally 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. @ Corner of US-20 and US-101 in Newport. Bring your own signs. Please be cautious when rallying on public streets. If an agitator becomes threatening please remember: Avoid Engagement - with agitators and counter protesters Stay Calm - speak slowly and do not raise your voice Do not use body language or gestures that provoke the agitator further Do not get within two arms length of the person Use buddy system to ensure no one is isolated Identity safe exits or escape routes Take video or photos if possible and share them with us and with local authorities. -- Peaceful protest should be exactly that.
