On Friday, August 2, I am hosting my 32nd town hall of the year—and my 572nd open town hall since first being elected to the Senate—at Oregon State University’s Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, Oregon. Oregon Coast Community College and Small Business Development Center host Legislative Town Halls First event of session is Friday, Feb. 28   Get caught up on all the goings-on in Salem in this live conversation with Senator Dick Anderson (R, Lincoln City) and Representative David Gomberg (D, Otis). For these monthly sessions, as has been the case over the past decade that OCCC and its SBDC have hosted these events, our elected officials may occasionally attend in person though, generally speaking, committee assignments and work at the Capitol will force them to join via Zoom. Attend the in-person live stream, and you’ll be able to visit personally with Sen. Anderson and/or Rep. Gomberg if and when their schedules allow. Presently, live in-person streamings of the Town Hall events is planned for Lincoln City; if you’re interested in attending a live forum at the Newport Campus, let us know. Rather than attend the State of the Union on Tuesday March 4th, Senator Wyden is choosing to hear from residents in Oregon - and he wants you to join and participate!   Ron announced he will co-host a live online town hall that night with People’s Town Hall to offer all Oregonians the opportunity to ask questions, share their ideas and offer their views during the State of the Union speech. The online town hall on Tuesday, March 4 will begin at 6 pm PT (7 pm MT) and can be watched HERE on Facebook Live.
