The North Area Democratic Committee meets the third Tuesday each month. The next meeting is on February 18, 5pm-7pm at the Pelican Brewing at Siletz Bay, 5911 SE Hwy 101, Lincoln City. Come share your ideas and meet new friends.
League of Women Voters Lincoln County will hold its next meeting on Thursday, February 20, at 11:30am, at the Newport Public Library, 35 Nye Street. The program will feature a presentation from the K-12 Education focus group, in preparation for adopting a League position on the issues. The powerpoint presentation will be divided into sections to allow for discussion.. All League meetings are open to the public. Please join us! Food Drive to benefit Food Share of Lincoln County at our monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 23, 5:30 - 6:45. Atonement Lutheran Church, 2315 N Coast Hwy, Newport. FOOD DRIVE - Bring non-perishable foods to our April 23 meeting to benefit Food Share of Lincoln County. Suggestions: canned foods, white rice, dried black beans, corn flour, salt, dried chilies, pre-packaged ready to eat foods.
